FINDING AND FORAGING
After a lively and wonderful weekend weaving tales, folk traditions, and herbal concoctions in Harlemville, NY this February in honor of Bridie, we’re gathering now towards a weekend of Finding and Foraging in Botanica Fabula’s “backyard” - all the familiar haunts, hills, and lands that have built up the stories that have become Botanica Fabula.
Join us for a weekend of Finding and Foraging, grounded in Amanda’s new book the Time Traveller’s Herbal. Together we will visit many of the sites mentioned in the book, falling into step and out of time together as we taste teas, visit wells, explore mountains lochs, and learn the folklore and mythology of the land.
Will you make it?
As we build this bespoke weekend, we’re seeking our cohort of 10-20 participants who will commit to being together in this time and space.
As is the Botanica Fabula way, we will shape the weekend course to suit the people who choose to join us, and for that reason it is extremely important that we know in advance who you might be.
In fairy tales, our heros are asked to cross the palm of the local wise woman with silver. We too require a small financial commitment* to ensure we are truly building our weekend cohort.

This deposit secures your place in our Finding and Foraging weekend this June 13-16, 2024. We reserve the right to cancel the event, in which case your deposit will be FULLY refunded. In all other cases, this deposit is non-refundable.
We will give you a final indication no later than April 15, 2024.

Financial Information
We’re asking a 50gbp contribution to hold your place for the weekend.
We run our courses on a sliding scale, so that you can select the payment level that feels the most appropriate for you.
We estimate that our sliding scale for this event will be as follows: 275 reduced rate / 350 general admission / 425 patron
If you would like to book accommodation or catering with us, there will be various options available as well. Please see information in the dropdowns to learn more.
We will be in a beautiful, historic home and those who choose accommodation with the group will have a delightful retreat environment with many amenities and evening activities available.

We will have limited on-site housing available. Our estimated sleeping arrangement costs would be as follows:
King Bedroom: 65GBP/night, including up to two people
Double Bedroom: 50GBP/night, including up to two people
Bed in shared room: 20GBP/night

For those of us staying on-site, self-catering will be available in a beautiful kitchen. Depending on interest and need, we may also offer a vegetarian, organic, homemade catering option as well.
